What kind of bow is this??

I have an old vintage recurve bow that has a 3/4" circle decal with an eagle on it. Bow is marked( Sh1274 45# @28" 58" )at least I think thats what it says. What brand is it. Shakespeare?? Any idea of its age? Thanks.

its not a shakespear.. i think it is an old blackhawk recurve ... used to have one similr as a boy, pretty sure

I think it could be a Wing Archery bow, which surprisingly are still made. There were so many bow companies during the late 60's early 70's that it really has became hard to identify some bows. There was and still is to some extent a lot of independent people making bows during that time.

So were down to it being either a Blackhawk or a Wing recurve??? Anybody else??
