Faith guidance..or relief??

Ok, so I believe but don't go to church every Sunday. I do pray almost everytime I hit the woods. You know...guide my arrow for a quick clean kill, the ability to be there ...the nature provided....
You here the crap about your not supposed to kill gods creatures and you see the crap about "heart attacks are gods revenge for killing his creatures" anyway, I bought this movie some of you have probably seen "Cold Mountain" a little mushy but I really liked it. So I am putting the movie away in the cabinet and my wifes dads bible is there (he has passed) dated 1947. This first page I open to is Genesis, the first place I start to read is chapter 9.. 2-9 read " And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth, upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb I have given you all things.
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat."

I can now say with that I feel a lot better about hunting. I was always taught not to kill Gods creatures, but I chose to hunt. I now feel much better about taking the life that was provided for me to feed my family with.

Again, Merry Christmas to you all and have a safe and happy New Year!!!![:D] God Bless!!!!

Why do they make it taste so good and put it in them little bitty cans- Dad

Sounds like you got a big combination of all three things rolled up in one for you, faith, guidance, and relief. Good for you.
I grew up completely different from the sounds of it. My parents are what I would consider very religious and we were always taught growing up that god provides everything for us we just need to make the effort to receive it all, including hunting.

    cold mountain, Rocks! .....[:D]
