Id look in bedding areas or travel areas

My old man's backhand used to land,
Hard on the side of my head.
I just learned to stay out of his way.
    There's been streetfights, blue lights,
Long nights with the world sittin' on my chest:
It just showed me how much I could take.
    Hard times, bad luck.
    Sometimes, life sucks.
    That's all right, I'm ok.
It ain't nothin' but another day.

Go to ebay, it's warmer, there's no rodents to chew on them, they have big sheds, and you can stay logged into gunbroker. [:D][;)]

Seriously, I really just walk. Seems like I find them about anywhere from a corn field to a muddy creek crossing to under a power tower. Not sure about where your at, but around here they start dropping the end of Jan or beginning of Feb for the most part.

I go in late Feb. early March with my oldest daughter, she seems to find more than dad. Usually don't find many but it's just fun gettin out.

Better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool!!
