cutting arrows

Anyone have any home built thing/jig/saw for cuttin' arrows? Anyone have any ideas how to make one?? They seem a bit pricey to buy one.

I never cut any. The place I deal with always cuts and installs inserts for free. If I purchase my arrows there of course. [:D]

Hey bang[;)] I made a cut off saw with a dremel tool. I mounted the dremel tool to a tray I made out of wood with a muffler u clamp. Put two roller-bearings on a v cut aluminum channel and lined everything up. Then put two peices of wood on each side of the channel. I simply lay the arrow across the roller bearings then push it into the blade and then just spin the arrow works great, note[:0] The biggest challange in building this is making sure arrow is square to the blade the rest is a breeze.[8D]

I'm with Susp on this one, I just have my bow shop do all that stuff for free.

Yea thats cool. I buy raw shafts, and fletch my own so they need to be cut. It is cheaper to build your own plus it's kind'a cool to kill with an arrow you helped make.
