    Pennsylvania recently allowed crossbows to be used throughout the state during firearms season. I live in a special regulations area, and around here, you can use a crossbow during ANY deer season.

    Welcome aboard!! Check out Il. DNR web site if I read it right they may, it is on the table, let 18 and under use crossbow. It is also on the table, if I read it right, to open archery Sept. 1 thru. Feb. 15. Now I don't always understand their legal mumbo so I may have it wrong. But I also saw this on another forum thats what got me to the web site.
