Quick question

I was at my favorite pawn shop today. While there I bought another gun[:D]. While there a bow that was hanging right behind me snapped a string. Now the question; has anybody else been close when that has happened? I've seen guys dry fire a bow and that's loud, but this is the first time i've ever seen one snap.

About ten years ago or so I half dry fired a bow at a bow shop. The string slipped out of my fingers. Needles to say my father was not to happy and my butt was a little sore on the way home. [B)]
Bet your butt felt like you were sitting on a bunch of "needles"![:D][:D]

I saw a guy cocking a crossbow once when something happened to cause it to release, before his fingers where out of the way. It looked pretty painful and he cursed up a storm.
