Turkeys are hard to kill
With eyes in the back of their head.
You must sit so very still
If ya wanna make em dead.
A shot gun you pattern
For their brains to be splatteren
A bow kill is the true art
For putting four blades thru the heart
Out into the woods I go
Leaving my shot gun and taking my bow.
Sitting in the woods so long with my butt asleep and my brain awake .It just one of the many things I love about hunting. I'm still seeing birds but not able to get a shot. It's not over to May 6 and I'm having too much fun. Tomorrow got to do some honey do's early. Then back to the woods.[:o)]
