Info on solid aluminum recurve bow???

iron jockeyiron jockey Member Posts: 81 ✭✭
Anyone know any history about a solid, naturally finished all aluminum recurve hunting bow made by a company named "Sederquist"? I bought one at a yard sale yesterday and it is one strange looking bow. Can't find much info on it at all. Looks like it was made in the late 40's to early 50's. It's marked with a serial number, 2008, and "50", which I assume is the draw weight. It has a laced leather grip stamped with the Sederquist name. It kind of looks like a disaster waiting to happen if it was shot a lot or in very cold weather. Just curious to see if anyone knows the story behind its design & manufacture and its fall into obscurity.
