Knight MK 85 Range Report

I took my Knight out to the range to work up a load for the coming elk season. I tried a couple of different bullets with mixed results and thought I would try some Lee R.E.A.L. bullets I had made. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. It is a 320 grain bullet with 90 grains of 777 powder and Winchester 209 caps. I was only shooting at 25 yards as my eyes aren't that good with open sights anymore. Colorado doesn't allow scopes during the muzzle loading season and the front sight about covers the bull. The day was nice with 5-10 mph headwind and it was 38 degrees. The bottom two shots are 70 and 80 grains by volume of 777. There are six shots in the group...I might just get lucky this year...
