Individual State and Local Laws?

I have a Ruger Old Army listed on the auction side.

I had listed shipping restrictions to States and local municipalities based on what I saw posted by a major retailer that sells black powder firearms. It turns out, their list of prohibited areas is pretty much nonsense. I don't know how they developed that list, but it bears no relationship to what I could find when trying to research this more.
I've changed my shipping restrictions to what I think is accurate, but was looking for an authoritative source that would give me a list of States and local municipalities where I should not ship to. Does anyone have anything like that?

It's Chitcago & Cook Co. where you run into the can & can't BS.
bambambam, Yes, I believe you are correct about the laws in your state. I put the blanket restriction on shipping to IL because it's really difficult trying to navigate IL laws on this matter. If someone was in IL in an area where it looked like there were no restrictions, I would want to get it shipped to them, but I wouldn't look forward to researching that. I see that Cabelas lists restricted areas for black powder guns in IL by listing ZIP codes -- I'd probably "copy" their rules if someone from IL won the auction. (Even though I'm reluctant to copy the rules others use, based on my previous restrictions I had wrongly posted due to "copying" what a large retailer was doing.)
