I have a Uniflow powder measure and am tempted to use it to measure loads of F.F.F.G. Goex black powder. Is it safe?

Yes, any powder measure can be used with black powder. It would be wise to read up on static electricity and gunpowder in plastic loading containers. Depending on what you are doing, black powder is not nearly as sensitive to weight variances as smokeless powder is, so the experts say.

I finally got a response from R.C.B.S. and they told me it was UNSAFE. I am not going to take any chances.
