Knight lk 93 question

mossberg500manmossberg500man Member Posts: 833 ✭✭✭✭
My folks just picked up a very lightly used knight lk 93 at a garage sale for $100, but their not sure if its been converted to a 209 primer or if still the no 11 cap, what kinda pros amd cons are there for a no 11 cap vs a 209 primer before i invest in a 209 primer conversion for it

I have used the #11 caps for over thirty years without a problem on long guns as well as hand guns. As long as the powder is dry they work fine for me. I still use black powder also. I have friends that use the 209's but I could never tell they were any better, maybe I'm missing something I dont know.
