I go back three pages and come to a subject titled "Copper" and I realized it was from 2013. I thought someone dug this up from the past but I guess there ain't much going on in Black/Cowboy Action.
Let me think what I've done since 2013 on this subject [:D]. Came across a AJAX fake ivory SAA with a wedge for one piece grip. I think I paid $20 prety good price (I think).
Finally fixed a half broken head on my Marlin 1895GS loading gate screw (silly thing still held but it was unsightly).
I guess that's about it. Haven't gone down to see the local cowboy shoot in Gonzalas. That reminds me I still don't have a cowboy alias.

spasmcreek - The screw color I'm trying to get is what Uberti calls "Fire Blue" (I think it's been a while since I looked). Or was it "Sapphire Blue"? The finish is real thin since the finish seem to rub off easy.
Still on the first page [:D]. Haven't one much. Fake ivory grips are there collecting dust. I did get a pair of fake ivories for the Schofield. Looks pretty good.
The weather's nice so I should mosey to the local cowboy shoot in Gonzalas and see what's what. Put on my vintage serape and blend in with the whities. It's too bad I don't have a "Star Trek" out fit.
