Hi, I need to know if this revolver take a #10 or #11 percussion cap. Also is the round ball diameter a .454 or a .451.

    There is a YOUTUBE video on the Traditions 1860 Army Revolver - used #10 cap and .454 ball. You could also contact Traditions. My experience is a .451 ball is usually too small. You need a tight fit; there should be a ring of lead shaved off when you seat the ball. I repeat, you need a good, tight fit to securely hold the ball. Black powder shooting requires experimentation to get the best results.
