I have a desire to purchase a 31 Remington revolver. Sportsmans Guide has a good deal. It is a small 5 shot with a brass frame and a spur trigger. I don't know why I want it, but I do. What do you know about this gun. Ever own one?

    Personally I would avoid the remington 31 cal. They are more for go than for show. I had one and the loading ram broke three times at the pivot point. I heard from a gunsmith that this was a common problem with the Remmy 31 cal.
