Paper cartridges for the BP revolver/pistol

I have used/made paper cartridges for my revolvers on several occassions. Anyone else do this?
It fills an evening with interesting 'craft' related to my hobby and makes loading quicker and easier. I often do this at the same time I break the revolvers down for cleaning and oiling.
Use cigarette papers because they are impregnated with nitrates to burn quicker and easier.
Depending on the calibre of your revolver or single shot pistol you'll need a dowel rod a size smaller. If you have a 44 cal. use a 3/8" diameter dowel rod (a 7/16"[.437"] dowel will be too large.), for a 36 cal. use a 5/16" dowel rod. Roll a cigarette paper around the rod and seal it in the normal way. I've found I can cut the large papers (1.50 or 1.25) in half and get two cartridges per paper. Glue one end closed by rolling over or pinching with some glue, or whatever works for you. Measure out the required powder load you use and pour into the open end of the rolled paper. Fold the open end over and glue down.
Inevitably you'll roll a few too 'fat' 'til you get the feel for it.
You can store them in a tin box, I use an Altoid container, until time to use them. Several dozen will fit. Just drop one in the chamber, place the RB over and ram it home. You will need a nipple pick to puncture the paper to ensure ignition. I usually don't have to do this because I roll them 'thin' on the ignition end.
If you choose to do this indoors in front of the TV use a large Stainless Steel bowl to catch any spillage of powder. Don't want that accumulating in the carpet. Also don't smoke while doing this, tho' I guess that's understood.
