New model is a smaller frame, much closer to the original Colt Single Action Army. Here are some links that will tell you ALL about it:

The new vaquero won't take the hellaceous loads that the old one will,which is fine for cowboy shooting.
The frame is the old xr3...very colt-like in size and fit.
