1858 New Army Remington

Searcher1911Searcher1911 Member Posts: 2 ✭✭
I just got a case hardened laser gripped .44 1858 Remington from Cabela's (Pietta). The workmanship and overall quality was exceptional. The trigger pull was quite good, on par with modern single actions. I have been away from BP for 25 years, concentrating on new pistols and rifles. I can say the quality I saw on this Pietta was a world better than I use to see on BP replicas.

Pietta quality has been pretty good for the past few years.
I have an 1860 Colt Army that I bought under the Traditions label, made by Pietta.
I have no complaints, except that two springs have broken. The mainspring and the hand broke. I called the Traditions 800 number and they sent me replacements for free.
