Missing Cylinder

Hi Guys, GB for years but first time on the forum. Maybe someone out there can help me. I have an older BP pistol made by A.S.M. Theres not really any other markings on it. Years ago i put it away pretty dirty and the cylinder is shot. I purchased a replacement cylinder for what i thought was the correct model from cabelas but it doesn't fit. The Gun looks exactly like the 1858New Army Texas model, but that cylinder wont fit. Any suggestions?
