I've got one to scratch your head over, my son is making a pinewood derby car, those little wooden cars boy scouts make, anyway the weight is maxed out at 200 grams. I was going to use 490 round ball I made out of good pure lead for weight. what I really need to know is how many to put in, bottom line how many grams does a 490 round ball weigh?

Use pyrodex as your propelent and forget the weights
No, he will need the weight to keep it from flying off the track and killing someone.[^]
I would think with the weights you should be ok to use pryrodex[8D]
