20" encore barrel

How much velocity do you lose using a 20" encore barrel as opposed to a 26" or 28". Which powder is more effective or faster burning if any in the shorter barrel.

You'd lose a couple hundred FPS I guess.

FFFG is faster burning that FFG or RS, I believe.

I wouldn't use FFFG, it is for handguns. If you are burning over 90 grains of powder, it dosen't matter, anything more that 90-100 is being blown out the barrel anyways.

    Hello,

I called TCArms on this exact subject, they told me 100' per inch.

Remember that 777 is a little hotter, and Hodgen recommends the load be reduced by 15% below the maximum load. I use 80gr charges of FFFG Triple Seven, pushing 200gr. ShockWave's.
