3F vs 2F in 44 cal 1858 & 1860

I have two pistols, both 44 cal. I have been using 3F to date - about 100 rds each gun. Does anyone have any experience using 2F after using 3F and what impact did it have on accuracy, cleaning etc?

It won't make that noticeable a difference in a pistol. FF is just a coarser grain, bigger flakes, than FFF. The finer FFF is easier to light with a little more presure, stick to it in your pistols, rifles are another subject.
