Where is a good place to look for the basic fundementals of constructing a range and ammenities to get set up to have this sport in our area of Southeast Missouri? What kind of prizes are awarded and is there any events already set up in S.E. Missouri that I can go and look at. I am ultimately wanting to host an event here so I am in the planning stage. Thanks..

Closest club to you would be the West Plains Waddies. Maj Missalot is their contact person, and their website is: http://www.wpwaddies.com/ There is also the Gateway Shootists up near St Louis http://www.cowboygass.net/. For range construction, see the SASS Handbooks here: http://www.sassnet.com/Shooters-Handbook-001A.php . They'll get you started.

Prizes are up to the club, most give ribbons at weekly matches, maybe trophys at annual matches,or plaques.
A match setup can be as simple as just using the tables and such that you already have,or build falsefront buildings, etc for going all out.
