Hawes BP 1858 remingtion

I have a hawes 1858 remington 44 cal cap and ball revolver. No itialian proofs The only marking on it is hawes on the right side of the frame. Any idea who made it or when? Thanks

    Hawes was an importer of replica percussion revolvers. They used Armi San Paolo and Rigarmi among other unknown manufacturers. These will become collectable because of the limited numbers sold in comparison to others.
