Flintlock Longrifle!

I am thinking of getting a hand made Flintlock longrifle, NOT A MUSKET. Is the quality in a custom gun much better than a store bought reproduction?

The craftmanship that can be seen on a well-made custom "Kentucky" rifle can be truly amazing. Quality production guns will probably shoot just as well as a custom, but the beauty and craftmanship will not be there. Custom rifles can easily cost 5-10 times more than a good quality production flintlock. You get what you pay for...

YES. The fit and function will be better if the gun maker is good.
Just remember, a flinter is only as good as its lock. Do not skimp on buying a good lock for her.
