I was shooting my Cabelas 50cal hawken this weekend
I started out with 40grs of Goex cartridge w/ .495 hornady ball and .015 pre lude patches. lit it all off with a Musket cap.
the first three shot struck a little low I think I had zeroed the sights with 60 grs
anyway I spit patch in between the first three shots and I noticed some raspberry colored berry seed looking poop coming out with the patches
does anyone know WTH that is and should I worry?
I all went away at about 55grs and there wasn't any once I got to 70gr which is my hunting load I decided
