I started a new muzzleloader off on Blackhorn 209 this year. Yesterday, I took a big, mature doe with it. 100 gr equiv. behind a 245 gr Powerbelt at 45 yards put her on the ground in her tracks. The bullet didn't pass through and was just under the skin on the off side. The mushroomed diameter was .892". Even though it was a damp, foggy morning, the smoke cloud was minimal. I think I like the stuff!

    good for you! meat is meat but I bet good old fashioned black powder would have killed her just as dead for less than half the price, but to each their own, it will taste the same no matter what.[;)]
