Opening day of the three day Maryland season starts today. Plenty of acorns, fresh buck rubs and lots of deer sign abound this year. The Savage will be ready, a 300 grain Hornady XTP being pushed by 43 grains of Viht. N110 should do the trick if one nice enough happens to stroll by. Good luck to all who go out in pursuit of the elusive ones.
