StradivariusStradivarius Member Posts: 51 ✭✭
Can anyone please help me with information to find a manufacturer/supplier of cartridge cases in metal or even plastic for an ORIGINAL New Model 1863 New Model Sharps Carbine. Any help would be much apreciated.

I have found for new replicas, but on there page they warn that those cartridges can not be used in an ORIGINAL 1863 Sharps Carbine.

Thank you in advance for y?ur help [:)]

An original 1863 Sharps is not a metalic ctg gun, it is a paper ctg gun. I doubt you can buy ammo for it. You will have to make your own. I think Lyman still makes the correct bullet mold. Check the NSSA site for instructions on how to "roll your own".
