put powder down the barrell then patch and ball. tamp with some sort of rod, put cap on nipple and pull trigger. When smoke clears look to see if you hit target. pretty simple really.[;)][:D]

    Web site : www.tcarms.com

Under FAQ : how to get owners manual for firearms?

"email serial number & address to customer service, etc."

Another forum to look into is Muzzleloadingforum.com.

There should be someone there who'll have specific info on the Cherokee rifle.

    Does this help?

The Cherokee, from my poking around, as is the Seneca rifles were well made and now very sought after black powder rifles. (you got a REAL STEAL getting that one for $100. AND with caps & lead!)
