    I have just bought a Tradition pursuit LT, now I would appreciate all info I can get, good or bad and about the charges I can use and about any bullets I can use, I am new at blackpowder would like to learn all I can. Thank You[:)]

    Your rifle has a 1:28 twist, which means it is designed for elongated slugs, not round balls.

    Try the Hornady 250 SST and 70 grains of powder.
    Then try 80 grains, and then 90 grains. Try 5 shots with each and see if one load is more accurate than the others.
    All are proven deer killers.
    Don't mess with so called "magnum" loads of 150 grains, it is just a waste of powder.
