Winchester 1893

simondpsimondp Member Posts: 29 ✭✭
hello all,

i had the chance to buy a 1893 winchester in pretty good condition!
allthough it is missing a few parts.

triggerbow + trigger and springs

front wood on the action slide + screws

and the magazine band (to connect magazinetube to barrel)

carrier pin

some parts of the 1897 are the same but others seems to be made just for the 1893.

does anyone has some small parts left? that could make mine complete?

Thanks very much!

Simon

By trigger bow do you mean the trigger guard? I have a trigger guard and trigger, missing the trigger return spring, but that's available new. I believe you can get new forearm wood and the screws, do you have the metal insert that goes inside it? I also have the band that connects the barrel and magazine, but the screw that goes through it is gone. All these parts would need refinishing.
I think most 97 parts fit, like the fore end, try e-gunparts.com

    Hi,
I recently bought a Winchester 1893 12 Gauge Shotgun that has a broken slide. Does anybody have a slide for it? It is serial # 32127 which makes it manufactured in 1897. The slide is broke right at the forearm.

You fellows would probably have more luck on the GunBroker "Want Ads" forum. Might want to try.
