selling a muzzleloader

I have two black powder muzzleloaders I need to sell. Can a non FFL, private owner sell to a non FFL buyer through GB.com, assuming all local laws are adhered to? TIA.

Don't try to sell it in New Jersey!

The genius libs who run that state will lock you up.
Also stay away from Chicago, DC, NY City.

Contrary to popular opinion, the sale and possession of all Blackpowder pistols and long guns is perfectly legal in New York State and New York City. The law does not require you to have a permit for them. However, the New York City Police Department will confiscate any weapon they get their hands on. They recently sent a letter to all FFLS in both New York and New Jersey stating that they (the NYPD)require that the FFL demand the person receiving the gun to show a permit before the BP gun be turned over. The NYPD has been known to search a home without a warrent because someone told them that the owner had BP weapons there.
The tragic thing is that it costs the gun owner a fortune for lawyers to retrieve his gun. We recently had such a thing happen to a re-enactor in Brooklyn who had his replica flintlock musket confiscated from his home. There were, of course, several newspaper articals with headlines "Illegal Gun Confiscated". The upshot of this a couple of months later an artical buried in the back of only one local paper stating that the case was thrown out of court because the Police were wrong. It cost the re-enactor over $10,000.00 to resolve the matter and get the flintlock back. Nothing happened to the Police or the DA who prosicuted.....Such is life under the dictator Bloomberg.

They must go through an FFL in Illinois. Thanks to the Democrats in Chicago.
