Is there some kind of chemical you can put on the velvet to keep it there for the taxidermist?
I don't know had it not broke when he tumbled down the hill you can leave them and they will dry naturally. the old timers injected them with formaldehyde.
It was warm and broke so I needed to get it off before it started to rot. I ended up peeling them (unfortunately)
