    There is a gadget that hooks up to the nipple and shoots CO2 into the barrel forcing out the bullet. I think Dixie Gun Works sells it. Otherwise, look for bullet removers in their catalog. There is one that is a steel spiral that fits on the end of a ram rod. You simply dig it into the lead of the bullet by twisting the ramrod while pressing down, then, have someone grab and hold the stock of the gun while you pull the bullet out with the ram rod.

    depends on wether it is a sidelock or a inline, I allways took the nipple off and used a toothpick to pack some black powder in the barrell then screwed the nipple back on and shot a cap, may take a few times to get it to go off, same could be done on a inline, remove the breech plug pour in powder or just use ramrod to push it out.
