I will admit I felt bad after I thought about it

Came home this afternoon and went through a radar trap. I wasn't speeding, so it was no skin off of my nose.
Got home and Sandy wanted some money, so I loaded her up in the truck and went to the ATM.
Left the ATM heading home and stopped at a traffic light. A young man in a new Mustang GT pulled up next to us. When the light changed, he wasn't paying attention, so I got ahead of him leaving the light.
He would have none of it, and quickly got ahead of me and slowed back down to the speed limit. I eased up to him and started to pass him in a few blocks, and again, nothing doing.
I bumped my speed up about 5 MPH and was slowly gaining on him, and he again raised his speed to stay ahead of me.
As we came to the I-35 bridge, and I knew the speed trap I had already been through twice was on the other side, I punched the gas and downshifted into passing gear.
That's all it took, and he walked away from me like I had put it in reverse.
I quickly got on the brake and dropped my speed back down to the speed limit.
As I topped the bridge, one of Lewisville's finest had already stepped into the street and flagged him down to a stop.
Sandy says I'm gonna' burn in hell. She might be right.[}:)]
I did feel bad after I thought about it, but it was just too much fun to pass up a peeing contest. His was with horsepower, mine was with meanness.[:0]

There's some taxes you won't have to pay!
Old Age and Treachery wins the day![:D][:D][:D]
KARMA brother...That's all i'm gonna say...[:D]
Shoot, I'm just paying back what was done to me the first 25 years or ignorance![:D]
[:D]
[:D][:D][:D]You're bad Danny![:D][:D][:D]That was plumb mean![}:)]
My only real comfort is, I didn't hold a gun to his head, he made his choice, and now he get's to pay for it.
Yep, it was pretty mean![:D]
Guess that makes you the winner!
[:D]
Well, I get to keep the cash I got out of the ATM![;)]
Oh wait, Sandy got that! Gues I didn't come out as clean as I thought![:0]

Yes he is, and I love it!! Sweet!!![:D][:D][:D]
Old age and treachery overcomes youth, again!
Well done!
Okay that's funny, but somehow it just don't seem right.
I said I felt sorry after I thought about it. It was a spur of the moment thing, and if he hadn't been acting like a punk-butt and trying to get my attention and put me in my place, he would be $200 richer.
Sometimes, I just can't pass up a good practical joke![}:)][}:)][}:)]
an treachery.
I can see him telling the cop, but, but but I was only racing. No, no, no, I mean, I mean ...
However, just in case, buy some asbestos underwear!!
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
that was low and you run your yap about it to boot. you should find out who it was and let him know what a great guy you are. so much for helping your fellow man............
anybody in a "sports car" who feels the need to race an "average" truck, on the street no less, deserves what they get
Yes I know what kind of person this makes me but after putting up with it for 60-70 hours a week you get there eventually. Some weeks it takes longer than others.
You should not feel bad at all.
Cops are never around (here) when I want them.
Case 'n' point, this evening (7:30-ish) on my way home, I'm stopped at a stop sign and observe a semi approaching another stop sign infront of and intersecting from my right.
He should've been slowing down and I start out from my stop as the road was clear.
I get about halfway to his stop sign and he ain't stopping.
Rolled right through it.
I laid on my horn and both feet on the breaks and missed his back end by about ten foot.
I could've called the cops but, I wrote the trucking company instead. I'll let his employer chew him out.
I don't feel bad nor should you.

I'll bet your driving record is worse than his![}:)][}:)][}:)]
He made the choice, only a liberal minded fool tries to blame the consequences of his own actions on others. I let 100 people a day pass me and never feel the urge to get ahead of them, cut them off or race them. I didn't press his gas peddle, he did.
Grow up.[}:)]
but thats me and you can do it your way.
I'll bet deep down inside you feel as bad about it as I do. [:D] [:D] [:D]

+1, that's a good one Danny.
D.
I don't get the "felt bad" part......
Well, $200 for just being a typical kid is a tough lesson, and most likely his dad will have to pay it, but that's what he gets for buy the kid the car to begin with.
It was a spur of the moment thing and a little wicked, and as much as I hate to admit it, I was smiling the whole time.
I like it!
He's only paying a "Stupid" tax. I'm sure it's not his first coupon, nor his last.
