Would parchment paper be a good choice to store guns on in lieu of them setting on / touching the foam insert in the boxes new gun come in or on the plastic bag included with the new guns?

Huh? Don
For long term storage suggest gun socks.
Or there are plastic bags made specifically for storing guns.
At one time some were using waxed paper, but now there are much better products on the market.
Nice guys.
A new member asks a serious question and ya'll answer with BS.
Paper, cardboard and foam all attract moisture.

I use the silicone socks to store the firearms in and keep the boxes separate .
I and sure most on here have seen the effects of keeping a nice firearm in the "foam lined gun cases" poor judgment or misinformation on storing has ruined a lot of gun finishes ,

That's the first thing I checked.[:D][:D][:D]
Thank you for the helpful answers regarding my one question of the year. I was not sure of the use of the 'P' paper which resulted in my OP as I have never heard anyone mention its use. Maybe next year I will come up with a better question for those ''experts' here.

We will await it with bated breath.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
