My favorite pair would be: Hold Your Head Up by Argent
and Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm by Car Crash Dummies
Flock of Seagulls ? ?I Ran"
or maybe
Dexys Midnight Runners ? ?Come On Eileen?
Both bands had potential and some real talent.
I'm a BIG fan of the late Jerry Raferty (sp) who had a great solo career. He was the man behind Steeler's Wheel

Barry McGuire Eve of Destruction
Ride Captain Ride by The Blues Image has always been one of my favorites...?
I still use Spirit in the Sky for a test song when I try out new speakers....
Commissars In Town by that German band, Falco. There is both an English version and a German version to this song and I like them both.

Every once in a while I channel surf and end up watching the ad for ?100 hits of the 60s?. I watch and am amazed at all the songs I loved but have forgotten about. It?s soooo good to hear those oldies!
Thank you for starting this thread and reminding me of songs from long ago!
All I listen too is crazy stuff like this I hate todays music just like my old man hates the music I grew up to
I used to listen to this stuff on a clock radio. One of the old ones with the little metal leaves that fliped to show the time.
My old man hated it so bad he got me a set of head phones so he wouldn't have to hear it, because I played it loud! I love peace music from the 60's
Give me Eric Burden and the Animals............. its my life and I am fine with the world.
I just watched the youtube video. Awesome! Thanks for sharing that one. I could watch that over and over. Don
Fun to watch....Waaay better than that stupid twerking.
Great Song!
Standells: "Dirty Water"
Yes Baker Street is unforgettable even if for the sax solo
^^^ this, by far
They also did "Conquistador" - so maybe they're not a "one hit" wonder?
I'm kind of partial to "Sunshine" by Jonathan Edwards or "My Maria" by BW Stevenson. "Smiling Faces" and "I Found Some of my Own" too. I guess there's no favorite for me, just alot of "really likes".
she was hot,,not like Sarah, but still
2 hit wonder but they were a great band.
Conquistador is one of my favorite songs.
I got the greatest hits album, those were the only two I had ever heard or heard of. Did not much care for Conquistador.
One Tin Soldier is another good candidate, as mentioned above.
Baby, it's you by SMITH
