People always say it's not the bread but the way they are treated & trained. Never seen a Golden on patrol

We have enough gun laws, what we need is IDIOT control.
Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.
I thought getting old would take longer.
Google Pit Bull Police Dogs. You might be surprised.
Maybe way back when cop guns were cap and ball.
You didn't google it and review the results, did you?
That's why TSA is switching to them.
More comforting to have a golden in the room than a shepherd when you're
getting naked.
Pit Bulls are a dangerous and unpredictable animal and banned in many countries and places.

I love Golden Retrievers and have had 8 of them in the last 30 years. Great dogs very loyal and sweet. They do pretty good in a duck blind too. My hunting buddies in LA called my Golden a Swamp Collie His name was Dusty and he was a fantastic retriever and a super powerful swimmer. He out swam all the labs.
I currently own one. Best dog I have ever had.
Do you, or have you ever owned one? (I'd venture to say - No.)
If not, you quite frankly Sir, do not know what you are talking about.
Ghetto Pits, (as I call them) are a whole different matter. A breed of animal responds to how you treat it. We can debate this all day long. (But) I own one, and can say that I speak from experience. (Having owned one properly raised, and treated.)
Anything beyond that is, "I read this, I know that."
He liked Belgium Malinois Dogs and Rottweilers the best. He said the Malinois did well in hot weather, better than a German Shepard.
He would train any kind of dog and was good at it. He trained dope sniffing dogs too and said a beagle was a good breed for that. He was allowed to have dope at his place to use in training.
I remember he had a Pit Bull that was trained as an attack dog that was crazy big. But he said when it came down to taking a guy out a Rottie was the best, they were easy to train and control super strong and big enough to really restrain a large human.
I would not recommend you put your hands on me, around my dog.
Total sweetheart, until he is not. (There's your opening Q&D.)
I tried/and wanted to enter the Military/Army as a Dog Handler. That was my #1 choice. (At that point and time, 1979.) They would only accept someone into that MOS with extensive "Prior Experience."
As a kind of joke he trained his wifes Dachshund to attack It was all funny until the little basturd got ahold of you
He sold dogs all over the US to Police and FEDs but mostly in GA, AL and FL.
I provided the links to the many countries/places they have been banned.
Clearly, there is a reason for the ban on pit bulls.
And a reason homeowners liability insurance policies don't cover the breed.
Just like it is illegal in the USA to drive 120 MPH some people do, however some pay the consequences.
To each their own but regardless, actions do have consequences when one is will to take the risk.

Again, you obviously have not Googled Pit Bull Police Dogs, nor have you reviewed the results. Links will come up, if you bother to look at them. (Doubtful.)
Yes, having clearly never owned one, you are the "Expert," here.
Nor does your opinion.
