4' x 4'. Daughter saw an abstract she liked when we visited the Momentary in January. I told her I could do one, half joking. She took me up on the offer.

Nice work!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
The colors were at my daughters request. Purples, reds, and golds. I added the green with hints of blue to balance with her decor. She needed contrast to the blues in her home.
Never have I done an abstract so I needed structure, hence the blocking. As for the different shapes, I wanted large, small and varied. I decided for the different textures for the play of light.
I guess to place it in perspective I want structure, but live chaotic. 🤪
I'm very flattered. I last studied art history in the early 80's because I had to take one course in the pursuit of my degree in psychology.
