New truck tires....I'm so confused...

I have a 2017, 4X4 Ford F150 that has 48,000 miles on it. It has been driven more like a car then a truck. I think the biggest thing I've had in the back is maybe a bicycle and a lawn mower.I'm going to need new tires sooner than later. It has Goodyear Wranglers on it with twenty inch wheels. I wish I paid more attention when I bought the truck. This is going to be expensive. Looking for recommendations on new tires. I am a true nimrod when it comes to this.

I'm looking for tires for my '63 Land Rover. It's tough.
I went from 15" wheels to 16" wheels so it gives me more selection.
Next I decide "what percentage onroad and offroad"?
Then "if offroad, what conditions? Mud? Rocks? Snow?"
Then "if onroad, what speeds? Cornering capability? Wet / dry performance?"
There's a plethora of criteria. How you plan to use it is question #1.

EDIT: I just saw I can select different sizes on that site, and I found a great set of 235/85 - R16 for $667 What a deal!
Not cheap but you'll get 60k+ out of a set. Hard to find anything that wears better on a 4x4 Ford. They cost more but last long if it's a truck your keeping. 275/60-20 will give you just a bit more sidewall and look nice filling the fender well.
A 235 75 16 is around 30 inches tall.
I grew up with either 14 or 15 inch tires on everything I drove going back to the 50s and up to the 90s.
Things have changed. Most pickups even half tons have up to 20" wheels today.
Seems most tires are made in China or Asia. Hope Bpost will sign in here as he is our resident expert.
Went to Walmart. Bought Kumho tires. Yes, they are so Chinese they come with a fortune cookie.
Price was 1/3 of what Goodstone and Fireyear quoted me. 2 years later, they still ride good, good traction, very little wear showing. You may finish lighting your torches, I'll get the stuff to make S'Mores.
My Chevy 2500 runs on 20's. Got 80k out.of the first set of tires. Kept nitrofil in them and rotated on a regular basis. Highway, and gravel road were my daily commutes when working. Some offloading to hunt and haul.
I believe the nitro and rotating made a difference.
As to the OP, we have had great service from Michelin and Bridgestone tires from Costco. Made in either USA or Canada. Whatever you decide, please DO NOT buy Chinese tires, they are garbage.
Decent road tires but not up to the task of living on a gravel road, some light farm work and bouncing me around to my favorite hunting and fishing spots....When I reached just over 40K a couple of months ago, I finally got rid of them...
During the 4.5 years one was destroyed and I had six other flats.....mostly they were nails from Amish horses and other junk and or sharp rocks.....the final straw was two flats at the same time when I hit a sharp rock on a nearby road.....
I replaced them with 10 ply General AT3 Grabbers......the truck rides a little different but I know I will be better off now....
You might want to avoid Goodyear:

Another vote for Michelin. Ran them on my f150 when I had it.
Lots of knowledge over there.

I just retreaded my 2014 and also my 2005 that I got back from my son since he bought a new car.
The 05 I did as cheap as I could since it has 219000 miles on it.
The 14 was double the price. But, a lot better tire , and they are 20's also. 20’s are pricey.
I went with Cooper Discovery AT3 XLT on the 14. A little over $1100
Trail Guide All Terrain on the 05. A little under $600

Had mine on since last July 4th huge sale. Not changing any tires because they made a moronic statement. Still have about 50k miles left in em.
