getting excellent care at Duke

they are treating me for lung and liver cancer at Duke medical center. I know I'm going to lose the war, but they are doing everything and trying everything they can. Doctors are great. thank you VA.

    Glad to hear you are happy with your treatments with the VA!  I have a brother with the same cancers (lungs & liver) being treated locally in northern Michigan using civilian hospital paid for by the VA.  Treatment started in March.  He was told in the beginning that without treatment he had 3 months to live.   

    Talked to him last week and his tumors have shrunken and he is getting around and feeling quite well!

    Duke is a very good hospital with great doctors.
