Dammit, this Corona crap has gone far enough!
I went the the ABC store this evening and it was closed as of November 3 due to COVID? I had to drive 22 miles to the next county. You guys think riots are confined to the cities? Tomorrow I expect to see major civil unrest in my county of 14,000 people.

It seems like a nice way to say we're going broke due to the virus, please shop at our remaining store. We'll see more signs like this coming soon.

Actually, the liquor store in the next county is in a college town. They were very busy. I talked to a nice black guy in dreadlocks, some Japanese kids were buying for a birthday party and some cute redneck girls and the clerks started singing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl. As I walked out, I held the door for a gent with a turban who was putting his mask on.
There’s a lesson there, but I was too thirsty to notice.
The lesson is: do not go to the liquor store immediately after drinking your last couple of fifths of Wild Turkey.
I went into the local ABC store & held my mask out so I could breathe & one of the 2 male clerks told me to put in back on. They didn't want to hear that I was 30' away & one said blah, blah, blah. So I grabbed a bottle & went to the counter. After the sale, I commented that the clerk touched my bottle & the bag, I had to touch the CC screen & pen and then I had to touch the door handle to leave. Now, when did you last sanitize you hands & those items? DUH, no answer. So I explained that if they didn't sanitize between every customer, then wearing a mask was like wearing a leaky condom. Still, no answer.
What he said. Get over it dude, it is real.
I feel sorry for all you folks that can only buy your liquor from state run stores. Here, it can be had all over town and even a few places out in the middle of nowhere!
Will be picking up a couple large bottles of Rum this weekend to make Rum Cakes.
And I’m sure you are more than prepared to enlighten me as to what that lesson is.
Save your condescending diatribe for someone else.
Brookwood, where do you live that you can buy booze most anywhere in town?? I know it isn't in S.C. or Ohio.
In Texas, liquor stores are considered essential businesses..
I remember when we used to have liquor stores here. Now it's available at virtually every grocer.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Michigan. Not everywhere but just about every drug store, Big Box stores, Party stores. Places that have Liquor Licenses.
around here you can buy it at most gas stations , liquor stores and even Walmart
Same in Iowa.
Beer, hard liquor, wine.
State owned Package stores a thing of the past.
It might be the beer talking...but...but I really like beer... 😉

I never drink liquor. That vodka is a substitute for hand sanitizer. Yeah, that's the ticket....SANITIZER. Yeah!
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Absolutely!
I've been saying all along whiskey is a good sanitizer.
Someone said its only 40% alcohol and it must be 50% alcohol or greater to be effective.
So I drink doubles. Its simple math, 40 X 2 = 80.
