She and I are still working on not howling like a banshee intermittently during truck rides. Last trip we took was over 700 miles round trip. She actually does well except for when she first wakes up. Her favorite place to ride is across my shoulders.

Getting big quick, and still so stinkin cute.
doesn't look like she has missed many meals.............
Beautiful face and great picture of her!
Best.
Wow, she's growing like a weed!
Skinny, flat eyes, coat not shiny, not living in a clean environment, obviously a neglected pup!! I miss green font! 😁
The howling of a Beagle is something to behold.
Made me smile...thanks
Is she getting you trained yet
She looks a lot like my Beagle Duke that I had as a kid. He would bark at night and our neighbor would call up and raise h**l. Mom have him away one day while I was in school. It still pi**es me off to think about it.
They are fun dogs, and she looks like a cutie.

Spoiled rotten is what she is. She gets to sleep in my bed, numerous toys, a baby goat with which to play and deer pieces/parts for chewing.
She gets Science Diet puppy food and no table scraps. Since she is currently an inside dog I don't want to deal with gastrointestinal issues. Yuck...
She has herself a bit of a belly. :-)
A playmate that Shiggles can clean up after!! She can make certain Momma doesn't have clean up the little goats "raisin's"!
She is photogenic, but maybe needs to smile just a little more.
I agree with Allen the baying of a beagle is sweet music that soothes the soul.
Goes like this.
City fellow was visiting his buddy in the country. Country friend says let's go rabbit hunting.
Here they go and turn loose a pack of rabbit busters. Country fellow says listen to that, music to my ears.
City fellow replies, I can't hear nothing but those dang dogs barking.
Not just the bark of a good ole hound doggie but the natural odor they emit that lingers in the cab of an old pickup truck!
After my Bessy passed I could still smell her presence for nearly a year when I went for a ride!
Shiggie is the offspring of two of my brother's beagles. They are rabbit dogs and will occasionally run a deer. When he lets them loose he will call me to let me know so I can sit outside and listen to them run.
My maternal grandfather had fox hounds. He would call us on nights he let them out for a chase. I love the sound of a good beagle chase but the low bawl of a fox hound is something to behold.
Especially a wet one.
