Picked it up locally from the Black Friday Sale. Eventually they didn't have them in stock. Bought the gun home , took it apart, oiled it and had a go out back . It eats everything , ejects and runs fine. Pretty accurate piece for a little gun. Fit , finish is nice. Only downside to the firearm is the double action trigger pull. It ranks as #1 as the strongest pull on anything I have ever shot. Ordered a second magazine online .

I almost bought one but the trigger was atrocious compared to the Walther PP .32 I used to have. If I ever get another PP or PPK it will be in .32 or .380
It can be shot double action in a crisis but cocking the hammer, the single action is sweet. Very satisfied with the fit and finish when I expected it to be cheaply made.
The world needs a super slim DAO 100% reliable all-metal .22LR, engineered from the ground up as such, for traditionalists like me. But it'd never have enough 'points' to get past minimum-size - was that the GCA of 1968?
Did you know the magazine for the current PPK/s .22 will not work in older Walther PPK/s and PP .22s? Yeah, I had to find that out the hard way.
Several years ago, I bought a very old, but very pristine, .22 LR caliber Walther PP from a seller on Gunbroker. I've been very pleased with it. All steel German quality. I did find some correct spare magazines for it, but they were a mite pricey.
one of my favs is the American Arms PK22 KC Mo......da/sa.... blackened stainless steel...small and looks like a 1911...
The new ones PPK/S are made in Germany and distributed by Walther in Ark.
During the years that S&W had a partnership with them I had several customers have major problems with the Walthers. Things like broken triggers, probably because of the hard D/A pull. I probably sold just as many Bersa 22s and don't recall ever sending one of those back for service. That kind of ticked me off because I have always been a Walther fan and considered the Bersa just a cheap copy. I am glad the Walthers are back to being made in Germany and haven't heard of any recent problems. Enjoy your new acquisition. Bob
Comparing that Walther to the West German ones is like comparing a Yugo to one of your Corvettes. At best/

Did the same thing. Bought one of the new Walther PP mags. Only to find out, that it wouldn't fit into my old West German PP target pistol. Wound up getting a Triple K, and then having to file down the grips. So that it would fit. into the extended grips of the PP target pistol.
Only in price. Quality control on both is equal. Funny those imported firearms with different stamping to sell them in the USA bring less. Just like the Sig SSG 3000's I owned... However the quality is the same.
Quality is not equal, unless you are happy with Zamak.
Try a magnet on the slide or frame of your current PPK/s. It isn't steel, and that's why I chose to spend over twice as much to get what I got.

Slide is definitively magnetic, frame is not as strong magnetic but still magnetic. At least it isn't a plastic glock frame. These guns are well made fit and finish. Very satisfied. Liking the threaded barrel.
Took the mag apart and it actually looks like a block on the aluminum base inside the mag.. that could be ground off and an additional 2 rds at least could be loaded in the mag.
Well I hate all those stupid little guns no matter if made in Germany, or France, or Alexandria, Va., or Holton, Me. All except the S&W version, which had a bit of a beavertail, left twin bloody streaks across my big meaty hands. The triggers are atrocious, gritty, heavy things. They are too dense in my opinion for pocket carry, especially now with the plastic guns. I can't speak as to dependability cause I always had something better to shoot. Old Jim Bond knew a lot more about women than guns or he would have chosen something better. The new .22's are made in Germany by Umerex, the air gun folks who own Walther now. The slides and frames are made from Zamak, a zink alloy that I call pot metal. I am not saying these lower priced pistols don't shoot well or will last. I don't know and do not care. But to compare the quality of these new pistols with the older metal Walther's is foolish and wrong. The older guns are well made but stupid design in my opinion which i value above all others. 😎😎😎
Mine is Nickel plated... well it is magnetic. I am satisfied with the piece and that is all that counts. Lifetime Warranty. And Walther makes some real good air guns.
No Umerex makes air guns.
The slide lightly attracts a magnet because the steel barrel is inside it. Same for the frame; steel parts inside. Strip 'em nekkid and try it.
Nunn the nickel plating could be attracting it since nickel is magnetic. Either way I am satisfied with the firearm.
So what this boils down to is that Ricci won't buy one and he is happy with his decision. Select-Fire did buy one and is happy with his decision. Win, win all around. Ain't America great. 😊 Bob

No, once again you don't know what kind of gun you actually have, a R.O, not a T.R.P. And I have shot more than one of the damn walther pp,ppk,ppk/s guns and hated all of them but I did know what I was shooting. This is the end of this. I don't care what you buy, but you seem really mixed up about what guns are what.

I'm guessing a 21A is about as close as you are gonna get.
I have a 21A and its been a good fun gun. I don't think I would bet my life on it but I know it will shoot at least once. CCI velociteer 22 LR are what it likes. A hollowpoint really doesn't matter in a 22 because expansion is not all that critical, penetration and bullet placement are what count.
I think if I screwed it into some bad guys ear and did a mag dump I would win the fight, but I would never bet on a 22 LR as my primary weapon. I have carried a 32 ACP but it was a 12 shooter Beretta and very accurate and 100% reliable and that is about as small as I would go.

I have a small batch of 21'As and like them a lot. Wife carries one. Shot good ammo through them with nary an issue. Love those things. Also have the little 950s 22 short. Another little bugger that I like.
You know Grasshopper I haven't had a problem or stoppage with my 21A either. I don't shoot it much and when I do I only shoot maybe 2 to 3 mags.
The only thing that worries me other than 22LR rimfire ammo is the lack of an extractor. Beretta must know what they were doing and I haven't had a problem yet but I would bet if you put a bunch of rounds through it and the chamber got really dirty it would start hanging up.
It's possible but man are they are an easy clean I think. My wife has small hands and she loves the tip up to load and unload without issue. I always use "good" ammo in them and just can't say anything bad. I also have the 32 Tomcat, and the 380 double stack and like them all.
