I was out and about with my camera doing a little scouting in an area where I used to hunt....this nice doe and her yearling were in the area. She posed nicely for about 5 pictures....the yearling was too deep in the weeds to catch his image..
They are truly beautiful and interesting critters !

Great picture.
Beautiful. The herd that roam my farm are nocturnal for the most part when it comes to photo ops. There is so much overgrown area nearby that they chill out in it during the day and venture out at night to forage.
Tasty, too!
Ya know, that picture should be a jig saw puzzle,,,
Compared to the mulies I am used to, she has tiny ears. Beautiful Shot WM81.
I bought a real cam for my backyard...getting some good pics..
I grew up around mule deer and every time I look at a whitetail I wonder what the heck is wrong with their ears!
Up until this fall we had a Doe visit on a regular basis. They sorta get like pets🤨
I get only stray cats and collared doves.😟
Thanks all.....her ears did seem small to me also....Not sure if they are slightly pulled back or if they are indeed smaller than usual. She was a full grown doe with a yearling.
even mulie fawns have huge ears
