Taking Away Your Right To Drive? Ten Years Away?

Yep it's a privilege to drive and police are tired of chasing nitwits on the open roads! You are going to like it because your pocket book is not going to afford it.

To most Americans who have grown up with an automobile, the idea may sound foreign or strange but within a few years, only a small percentage of us may be allowed to own or operate a vehicle. I'm not predicting this will happen overnight but it is something that is likely to unfold over three to seven years as big tech slowly tightens the screw and asserts more control over our lives.

It would be easy for a SOCIALIST country to do just that. Key word: Socialist. Guess which party has embraced socialism?

Most at least on this board have figured out the Green New Deal is a Trojan horse for Socialism.

One can also guess who will be exempt: The same people telling you to lock down and wear masks yet there are countless examples of these same people in public violating their own rules.

It's going to happen, for sure. And the reasons will include "It's for your safety," and "If only one life is saved," and "It will reduce climate change." Sound familiar? I's been shown that people will wear masks and give up their constitutional rights with little more than a few whimpers here and there, it should be simple to make them give up their cars and driving.

no need, just make gas $10 a gallon, this would stop about 2/3 of the normal driving......... much like the current price of ammo, no need to ban guns, just make ammo unaffordable

Who needs guns and ammo when your on a prison planet. I wonder If Elon Musk will open a gun store on Mars? 😎

It's hard to respond to this post w/o being snarky and disrespectful but here goes. Farm tractors don't "gather crops" and "corporation/co-op farms" have nothing to do with the subject. The autonomous machines only operate under the right circumstances and locations same as the self driving vehicles.

Self driving cars are actually far more likely to work than autonomous agricultural equipment and neither can function 100% w/o human assistance.
