I just noticed that eBay was now charging state sales tax on goods sold through their marketplace. Is Gunbroker doing the same?

This is a link to what Gun Broker has posted about the subject.....
https://support.gunbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051436174-Sales-Tax
They are also planning on integrating TaxCloud to the website.....https://taxcloud.com/
Is anyone else not able to find the option to put in your TaxCloud information under your GunBroker account from the following?
TaxCloud
https://support.gunbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052701813-TaxCloud#:~:text=TaxCloud%20is%20now%20available%20within,API%20Key%20and%20API%20ID.
Log into your GunBroker.com account and proceed to MyGunBroker < Toolbox < Listing Tools < TaxCloud.
I do not see this in my GunBroker account.
The problem with Tax Cloud is it is a one size fits all program and will tax EVERYTHING. Even sales between private individuals selling a little of their collection when personal property sales between private individuals are not taxable in many states.
Why would anybody worry about taxes when it is a FTF sale?
At least this thread wasn't dug up from 2 years ago, by a first time poster.
l kinda like sales tax. lts the only fair tax out there... Everyone pays the SAME... Daughter lives in Fla... Grand daughter in Tenn.
Even better still, ''No state income tax''. Where l am in Ga/SC they let us BOTH. Biggest gripe on sales tax is when it comes
time for a new car/truck... A chuuting buddie's new F250 Diesel seemed a nice buy @$60k. Then l saw sales tax bill was
almost FIVE GRAND!!
A few years ago the politicians got in my area got really creative by ''giving'' us a local option sales tax:-( l still haven't written
our city govt thanking them for that extra dessert.
l hunt along the Washington/Oregon border now and then. One state has no sales tax. The other has no income tax.
Heaven is living in the state with no income tax. Shopping across in the neighboring state
Just wondering if GB sellers are getting a fee increase??
All taxes should be covered with sales taxes. No income tax, no hunting or finishing license, no property tax, not nutin. Folks with big bank accounts pay same rate a folks with small accounts, just more. No deductions for anything.
Who gets the most freebies? low income spenders.
I would wager the sales tax rate would be much lower than it is now in most states.
It was explained to me that when a seller marks the item complete the sales tax will be added to their account. So, the buyer will see the sales tax figure on the sale, the payment they send will include this sum and when the seller collects the payment. So, the seller is not paying added fees, but they will have to pay the sales tax to Gun Broker for all completed sales as of Jan 1st. Gun Broker will be remitting the taxes for the sales for each transaction.
I'm thankful that Gun Broker is complex enough to deal with this for me because I have dreaded this since I learned all internet sales were taxable. I didn't know how I was going to deal with it and I figured some audit in the future was going to be a nightmare.
Cashless already here on this site and on the cloud, soon for everybody and everything will be monitored by 5G- A.I.- Internet with Big Brother & Uncle Sam Inc. That should cover it all for you my friends.

Orwell was correct but off the mark by some years.
I don't always use the buttons in the dashboard, so does that mean it won't be computed??
This Sunday will be our first time dealing with the system. I will be learning how it works as we go. I am sure sales tax will not be tallied for things that are not "sold" and the GB system cannot compute things that are simply pending. I don't know what will be in the details until we actually start seeing it happen as we go. I'm horrible at keeping up with all the little tabs and such. I've got one lady that handles just the money , another lady here handles the FFLs and shipping, so I've got to figure out where I'll see the tax figures and how to keep up with the money that goes there without it snowballing into some horrific figure because nobody pushed the buttons to make it show up.
ebay about 2 years now GB about 3 days now
Per the newest update they will initially only be collecting for these states:
Uh huh, I just sold a rifle, and don't see where there is any sales tax on the sale, either in the invoice, or order tab after the sale. It will definitely be a learning curve...
I purchased something from one of the top 10 GB sellers yesterday and went thru the GB pay. Did not get charged sales tax based on my shipping address is in Arkansas. Arkansas in not on the "tax facilitator" list. However Arkansas will expect me to file and pay the state use tax directly to them on the purchase amount.
Just sold four in the last few minutes but none to the tax states.
I've got several transactions where people have used the checkout this evening and none are showing sales tax right now. So, I don't see how they are handling things at this time, because nobody can be charged sales tax if they didn't have it added when they paid at the checkout. Of course, I didn't notice it being for just these states and I don't know if any of our transactions are from there.....
I have requested GunBroker Support to collect any sales tax due on any sales I make from you. As much as you sell you will never notice a small fry like me.
From my experience, GB will automatically apply the sales tax to the customer’s check out accordingly for the MPF States, even if you started posting your auction prior to the 1st of this year.
My whole thing is, do I start charging taxes to all all other states based on the following article? I guess I need to check with my CPA. https://support.gunbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051436174-Sales-Tax
The "tax facilitator" rule is based on the shipping address to which the item sold will be sent to.
Probably will be a lot of folks who live in a state on the list but are close to a border of a state not on the list having their items shipped to a buddy/family member just over the state line.
