Vaccine Brand Choices

Pretty sure that we peons will have to take what is available when the time comes. Of coarse many including myself may just wait for a good spell before we jump into the fray and see what develops down the road.
Anyway, there are right now three different vaccines for this virus. Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca, each have their offerings. I have read that Dr. Fauci and several other elite's took the Moderna brand.
It is my understanding that each brand is different. I may be wrong and would appreciate any enlightenment from those knowledgeable.
If you are given a choice as to which shot to take, what one would you choose?

Id choose the first one thats available for me to get.
Remember that they said thalidomide was a wonder drug, that Agent Orange was harmless, and that fen-phen was a miracle diet pill?
And NEVER drink the water down in Ole Mexico!! 😆
I will take door 4
All three have been tested similarly and are pretty much equally effective as best as can be known today. Choosing one is not practical right now, take what is available. Mortality statistics for the USA went up about 15% last year (about 400,000), hasn't happened since WW1. One in 1000 people in this country have already died from Covid, serious reactions to the vaccine are less than 1 in 45,000. The only hope for a change in the pandemic is Herd Immunity, which will require about 80% to be vaccinated which at the present rate will take a number of months. Get the shot as soon as you can, I will (and not just because I will turn 80 this year). Don't wish to play Russian roulette with my life.
I have an appointment this coming Friday (January 15) at the Health Department to get the vaccine. They scheduled for 75+yo for this coming week. I was lucky to get the appointment. Yesterday, none were available. Pretty sure it will be the Pfizer drug.
The Moderna first shot for me. No noticeable side affects.
And NEVER forget that ice is water. Ask me how I know.🤢
I'm hoping to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine ----- close to approval, & it's just 1 shot.

Which ever is available. For the first seres...
Well it seems Sleepy Joe wants to distribute all of the vaccines now. England tried that and now they are waiting and waiting to get the second doses which are overdue.
Never had a regular flu shot and a real good chance i won't have one for the bat flu either.
I live a hermit lifestyle, so my exposure risk is very low. And as Butchdog said, I've never had a flu shot and I don't get the flu, so I won't be getting this new shot either.
I've never been vacinated period. I seriously doubt if I will get this either, but there is a slim chance I will.

I'm going with the "NOTACHANCEINHE!!" brand.
Same here, Neal. It is also, if I read it correctly, developed in a more traditional manner and because of that more understandable to simple folk like me.

Arm was a little sore last night. I am on day two since I got it.
