have about 250, 357 mag brass rolling around right now, just finished loading 20 up to test a new powder, I have allways used unique in all my pistol and shotgun, simple just to only have one powder to do it all, but with the current panic you can't find unique, so I picked up a pound of clays yesterday, so loaded up 20 to test em out in my rifle before loading the rest, will find out tomorrow how they do its beer thirty right now........ gotta have a few empty cans to shoot

Clays is a great pistol powder, gets kinda touchy towards max charges though.

no problem I allways load on the bottom end, no need to waste powder just to plink. not sure how its gonna work out, layed the rifle on the bench and was walking out to put up target and hit front of rifle, sight caught on my coat and rifle fell on concrete floor. took better dozen shots just to get back on paper, last six were back to tennis ball size group, and with my eyes, shooting offhand with reddot I will settle for that, next time will have to take the rest and do it proper, had one of those DDDUUUUHHHHH moments this morning when loaded up only took rifle and 20 rounds ammo, didn't even have allen wrench to adjust scope with or a target!, lucky there was another fellow at range who let me use his, though it did cost me the last 3 rounds, I let him shoot it as he said he had never even seen a 357 lever action. after shooting it he did say he was gonna look into one for his grandkids.....

    Clays is a good powder.

Try Reloader #2 or 5. I like the sperical powders because they meter so well in a Dillon 550 or even a hand operated powder dispenser.
